Walmart Ceases Sales Of E-cigarettes Due to CDC Health Concerns
Walmart will quit selling e-cigarettes as a result of “regulatory complexity and uncertainty” encompassing the products. CNBC reported on an inner organization reminder about the change, and Walmart affirmed the news in an announcement to the press.
“Given the growing federal, state and local regulatory complexity and uncertainty regarding e-cigarettes, we plan to discontinue the sale of electronic nicotine delivery products at all Walmart and Sam’s Club U.S. locations,” says the announcement. “We will complete our exit after selling through current inventory.”

Walmart's choice comes not long after US wellbeing officials announced the eighth death due to a baffling vaping-related lung illness. The first death was detailed in August.
