Press Release:

UK, London - “Special thanks to the participants of my ONLINE, "Inclusive Fashion Design with Purpose" short course test session today, delivered via the UAL: University of the Arts London's Blackboard Collaborate Ultra platform.

Feedback from today's session... "...you have a solid workshop in which to educate others. Very lively format and great content." Participant A "I loved the session today. The information you gave... the participation of [peers] ... was good. I felt we all interacted quite well together."

Participant B "As a primary school teacher, with no experience in the creative industries, I felt I would be left behind from the 'get-go' - however, the emphasis you placed on community building tasks within your curriculum, via your ice-breaking sessions, allowed for us participants to learn from one another, as well as from the tutor... There is an unspoken power within validating your students' experiences, something I had the pleasure in experiencing today."

Participant C ...I was even able to test out how I'd be able to assess students' learning by using available tools, such as the whiteboard / Plain slides with negative space to gain anonymous feedback in real-time.

What was meant to be a 60 min session, turned into a 3hr 30min session. :)

A special thanks to Central Saint Martins' Technology Enhanced Learning Coordinator, Jennifer Williams-Baffoe for her assistance and support, in restructuring and transforming my face-to-face designed curriculum into a digital-friendly course for online delivery.”
