Nicki Minaj Open for Verzuz Hit Battle "there might be a female or two that can...[battle me].”
Nicki's remarks come closely following the star delivering the trailer for forthcoming single "Do We Have A Problem" highlighting Lil Baby.
Nicki Minaj is available to a Verzuz hits fight against specific female rappers.
In a meeting bit from Houston's 97.9 The Box, which debuted on their Instagram page on Monday (Jan. 31), the Queen rapper was inquired as to whether she would do a Verzuz and which craftsman would she fight while partaking in the standoff.
Whenever radio personality J-Mac recommended that Drake and Lil Wayne are the main two rappers who she could do a Verzuz with, Nicki differ on the grounds that she felt the two of them have more grounded hip-bounce hits than her. Be that as it may, the Queens, N.Y. rhymer offered that it would need to be a female MC to conflict with her in a Verzuz fight.
“But see, Drake and Wayne have so many bona fide hip-hop hits, so I don’t know,” she said. “But I do think there might be a female or two that can...[battle me].”
Nicki Minaj then, at that point, uncovered that Verzuz makers Swizz Beatz and Timbaland have conversed with her about perhaps doing a Verzuz.
“Well, they were talking to me about it,” she uncovered. “Look, if it’s going to be fun, then you never know. That’s all I’ll say about that.”
“It should feel like a celebration, that’s exactly what I would like it to feel like,” she added. “Fun, happiness. Because a lot of times with my career, stuff would feel like work. And now I’m just like, ‘No. Everything needs to feel good. That’s it.'”
Despite the fact that Nicki didn't name a commendable adversary for her to do a Verzuz with, one rapper that surfaces in the Verzuz fight discussion is Lil' Kim. Despite the fact that Kim and Nicki have quarreled before, Kim has said she would do a Verzuz against the Pink Friday maker.
In June of 2021, while on honorary pathway before the 2021 BET Awards, DJ Envy, of Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club morning public broadcast, asked Kim who she might want to do a hit-for-hit fight against and she named Nicki Minaj with no delay.
"Now, I have to ask," Envy said. "Not gonna say who again, but would you do a Verzuz?"
Kim answered, "Yes."
DJ Envy followed up, "Is there anybody that you would do it against or you're just ready for anybody?"
Lil' Kim immediately reacted, "Nicki."
Staggered by Kim's response, Envy answered, "Nicki? Really? I would love to see that."
Kim finished up, "Indeed, me, as well."
Rap fans would likewise very much want to see a Verzuz fight between Nicki Minaj and Lil' Kim. Hopefully it happens genuine soon.
