Grande co-composed the track with the previous Fifth Harmony star. The video sees a li'l Normani envisioning herself on BET's 106 and Park with the No. 1 video in the nation. Developed Normani moves in her digitally embellished best, plays some b-ball, and for the most part channels everybody from J. Lo to Aaliyah.

On Thursday, the previous Fifth Harmony artist dropped the video to her first solo melody (she already dueted with Sam Smith on "Dancing With a Stranger"), and each Hot Girl and City Boy under the sound of her voice felt their lungs extend, their skin sparkle, their foreheads get more full, their teeth get more white, and the backs of their ears inexplicably began resembling tropical leafy foods credit.

However, the video lifts what was a generally excellent melody into the stratosphere. It figures out how to plunge into millennial wistfulness—the video's opening harkens back to the times of viewing 106th and Park after school—while situating itself toward the future: Normani as a bonafide pop and R&B star.

The video opens with a little youngster playing Normani as an adolescent as she energetically watches BET's great commencement show 106 and Park in her living room. As she looks up, she fantasizes about the hosts presenting "the number one video in the world right now," and declaring her name as the craftsman.

As the little youngster moves enthusiastically in her family room, the video moves outside where the genuine Normani - paying praise to Beyonce in a white top and blue denim short shorts that intently take after the vocalist's look in her notorious "Crazy In Love" video - strolls down the road while marking the up-rhythm track. The fun, provocative video sees Normani shaking a white top decorated with the year 1996 - her own introduction to the world year - as she twerks on the walkway, and on a steel fence and on a ball court at a certain point, while driving a move party in the road.  The video's movement pay tribute to various other craftsmen's presentation recordings, including Britney Spears' "..Baby One More Time."

Later in the tune, Normani rocks a noteworthy, jewel encrusted outfit with knee-high silver boots and moves in a downpour storm alongside a walking band. Truly, the video is next-level and fans are going nuts for it, just as its many clear wellsprings of motivation.
