Due to health concerns, Shygirl has canceled her forthcoming Tinashe-co-headlining tour.

On Friday (Oct. 20), the U.K. rapper revealed on social media that she was "heartbroken" to cancel the 13-date North American tour due to a respiratory issue.

Shygirl posted a statement on her Instagram Story saying that she was "devastated to share that due to an ongoing respiratory condition, I've been forced to make the difficult decision to cancel my appearances on the upcoming US tour on the advice of my doctor that I can no longer delay surgery."

Added Shygirl,

“My thoughts also go to Tinashe and Uniiqu3 as we were all so looking forward to this tour together. I am truly heartbroken by the situation, and I hope to be back to see you all as soon as I am able.”

The R&B performer and Shygirl were planning to go on a joint tour next Saturday (Oct. 28) at Chicago's Aragon Ballroom. The trip was also scheduled to stop in Toronto, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, and Los Angeles before closing off in Oakland, California on Nov. 18. The opening had been chosen to be Uniiqu3.

Despite expressing her "beyond devastated" at the postponed tour, Tinashe hinted that she would soon be on the road.

The musician said on X, formerly known as Twitter, "THE SHOW MUST GO ON!" “I’ve been working tirelessly with my team to put together my own tour which will be announced in the coming weeks.”
