Megan Thee Stallion Keeps Tina Tuesday Moving With “Thin Ice”

Megan Thee Stallion’s October 20 freestyle samples Limp Bizkit’s “Break Stuff,” adding a new chapter to Tina Snow’s fall run.

Megan Thee Stallion has added “Thin Ice” to her Tina Tuesday freestyle series, returning with a new video on October 20. iHeart’s release report credits Buddah Bless with production and identifies a sample of Limp Bizkit’s 1999 song “Break Stuff.”

The official video premiered on Megan’s artist channel on October 20. It gives listeners a fresh entry in a run that began in late September, with a different musical reference point and another appearance from her Tina Snow persona.

A new sample for Tina Snow

That Grape Juice’s October 20 coverage identifies “Thin Ice” as the third installment. The outlet describes a warehouse setting, black clothing and platinum-blonde hair, carrying the Tina Snow identity into a different environment from the snow-filled “Is You Cool?” video.

The Limp Bizkit connection gives the release a clear point of distinction. It is a sample, rather than an announced collaboration between Megan and the band. The production places an older rock reference inside a current rap release, offering a new route into the series for listeners familiar with either artist.

Hip-Hop Wired reports that the track begins with a slowed-down passage of Fred Durst’s vocals. Its account also notes supportive responses from Kehlani, Juicy J and Flo Milli. Those individual reactions offer a specific picture of the early response without turning a handful of comments into a claim about every listener.

Where “Thin Ice” fits in the series

Cyclolore previously covered the first two Tina Tuesday freestyles. The first “Tina Tuesday Freestyle” arrived September 29. Stereogum’s report connected that release with Megan’s ongoing work on Act III and the return of the character associated with her 2018 Tina Snow EP.

“Is You Cool?” followed October 6. iHeart documented that second release and its winter setting. “Thin Ice” now extends the sequence, giving each entry its own title and visual identity under the same series banner.

That distinction matters when following the rollout. A new freestyle is something listeners can hear now; a future album involves separate questions about its tracklist and release plans. The reporting reviewed for this story does not establish that “Thin Ice” will appear on Act III, and the freestyle should not be treated as a confirmed album-track announcement.

Hottieween is next on the calendar

Megan also has a confirmed event ahead: Hottieween at Zouk Nightclub in Las Vegas on October 30. The official venue listing gives a 9 p.m. opening time, limits admission to guests 21 and older, and says a portion of proceeds will benefit the Pete & Thomas Foundation.

That booking gives fans a concrete date to follow while the music continues. For now, “Thin Ice” is the latest addition to Tina Tuesday, with its own production reference and a new video to explore. The most direct way to follow Megan’s next chapter remains the material she actually releases, rather than guesses about who a lyric targets or when an album might arrive.
