Drake, Don Toliver and Yebba Bring ‘Cold Shoulder’ Into Focus

Drake, Don Toliver and Yebba bring their HABIBTI (FOMO) collaboration to YouTube with a story of an amusement-park date gone wrong.

Drake, Don Toliver and Yebba’s “Cold Shoulder” has arrived on Drake’s official YouTube channel, giving the HABIBTI (FOMO) collaboration its own standalone video release. The October 6 upload follows the song’s arrival on streaming and brings its relationship drama back into focus.

The release joins “Solar Eclipse,” Drake and Don Toliver’s other new video, in a two-song spotlight on the expanded project. Together, the uploads give listeners a straightforward way to revisit two collaborations that first reached audiences through the broader Fear of Missing Out rollout. “Cold Shoulder” adds Yebba to that pairing, with all three performers named in the official video title.

From FOMO to streaming

“Cold Shoulder” already had a history before this week’s upload. Rolling Stone Canada reports that it debuted in FOMO, the film that premiered online on September 15, with a video filmed at Canada’s Wonderland. The song then joined “Solar Eclipse,” “Quebec” and “Classic PT2” among the four additions released on HABIBTI (FOMO) on October 2.

That sequence gives the new YouTube release a clear place in the rollout: the film introduced the material, the expanded album brought the songs to streaming, and the individual videos let each record stand on its own. For “Cold Shoulder,” the latest step makes an already familiar visual easier to find and replay.

A date with an empty seat

The amusement-park setting puts a recognizable disappointment on a much larger stage. In its account of the FOMO visual, HotNewHipHop describes Drake spending the evening at a theme park after his date fails to show. Canada’s Wonderland becomes the setting for a romantic plan that has gone wrong, tying the video’s story to the distance suggested by the song’s title.

Neon Music’s review of the standalone video points to the empty park as the central image: the attractions are available, but the person Drake wants beside him is missing. That premise gives the release an easy-to-grasp narrative, turning a place associated with shared excitement into the backdrop for an evening spent alone.

Three voices, one unresolved relationship

The song follows the same emotional thread. HotNewHipHop describes Drake asking for reconciliation while Toliver’s verse approaches the situation through loneliness and an attachment he has not moved past. The collaboration builds around that unresolved feeling, with different voices addressing the same wish to have someone return.

Yebba is an important part of the record’s identity. Neon Music highlights her responses in the chorus and the additional space her vocals receive toward the ending. Those contributions give listeners another reason to stay through the full track, alongside the back-and-forth between Drake and Toliver.

Her connection with Drake also reaches back beyond this release. The two were credited together on “Yebba’s Heartbreak,” which appeared on Certified Lover Boy in September 2021. “Cold Shoulder” brings that partnership into the current HABIBTI chapter, while Toliver also shares billing with Drake on “Solar Eclipse.”

The credits and where to listen

Apple Music’s song credits list Drake, Don Toliver and Yebba on vocals, with production credited to London Cyr, 20, Ohh, O Lil Angel and B4U. The release is issued by OVO under exclusive license to Republic Records. Those credits place the three-artist performance within a wider production team behind the recording.

The streaming version runs 3:54, while the official YouTube video is a little over four minutes. Below, the video sits alongside song-specific Spotify and Apple Music players, so listeners can move from the visual to the audio without searching through the full album.

With “Cold Shoulder” now available as an individual official video, the collaboration has another point of entry beyond FOMO and the album. Watch Drake, Don Toliver and Yebba’s video below, then revisit the song on your preferred streaming service.
